Just to fasten the canopy on now and its back to Pylons gaff with it, though he has even less room now with the arrival of the Shooting Star!! The cheapo (if anything with Topflite written on it can ever be called that!!) vac formed radial turned out well enough, though its a pain to get he cowl on and off even with a sizeable gap round the crankshaft, not my problem though :nananana: :nananana:

Aaa ....apologies Mr Scarbrough.....I did do a little research before making the observation.
I put your name  with  BMFA  into Google and got the Nats results lists which has you with the extra " o ".
Made the assumption that they were correct.  :embarassed:
Glad Nigel was better informed. " Soz " as they say at work.

PS. Is it too late to say how fab it now looks. Good job Ian.  :co

Yay!! back in the hangar now. See what you mean about the cowl Ian, just need to re-fit and replace all tank pipes/tank etc and re-install Rx. Hope to test flight next weekend or in the week if possible.
Many many thanks Ian. :af

I thought that Alan, it looks like a bowling green,

I suppose it has to.  We wouldn't want a long strand of grass snagging the Corsairs wing tip as Richard does one of his special passes! ;D

Seriously, the grass is looking better than ever, Derek certainly does us proud with the site. It has actually been widened by 6m for this year :af

Good to see you're still campaigning the Corsair Mr. Pylon, are you managing to land with the same diameter prop you took off with? :ev
