Which BAe Hawk (PSS Sloper)
« on: April 29, 2012, 16:16:08 PM »
I've facied building something PSS for a while, so was wondering which BAe Hawk to go for (c'mon Eyeboy  :af)

I like the look of the >Westwings kit< version, but not sure how this would fly without the fan to push it. S'pose it would be a lot lighter without the motor/bats. - they specify a wing loading of 76g/DMē (25oz/Sq.Ft) for a 35" span / 1200g model, but I don't know how this relates to flying off slope. Maybe would need wingspan increasing a bit ??

Or is it worth a scratch build from the Andy Conway plan mentioned on the >PSS website<. (Not sure what size this plane's wingspan is)

Any other recommendations ....  :af

This is the Westwings version...With a good build thread >here<
