Very sad to see Galaxy close it's doors. They've been around longer than SWM and SWM is at 25 years. Not just a few years longer either! I was a kid when I first oggled Galaxy Models Adverts.

The Magician with the Cockpit back that the tail. I so nearly bought that kit. It's still on my list of kits that one day I'd do. That aint going happen as it's hard enough for me to get a RTF going now a days.

There's two major areas that SWM deal with other shops on a regular basis. Enya Gow Plugs and World Models stuff. Over the years there seems to be less and less old names/model shops.

I know to the persons that have shops in this trade , its more than a way to make a living, its a life, a vocation and I feel it for all those at Galaxy and wish them success in the future. Hopefully 2013 will be a better year for them personally.
