Can anyone recommend a 120 size equivalent electric motor please. I have recently acquired an Ancona c1 scount and want to convert it to electric.
Anyone help.
Cheers in advance
Real aeroplanes have propellers...anything else is nothing but a paraffin burner...........besides,

if you could advise size and weight of the model, I could run a selection through Ecalc and give a suggestion. Also what is the max diameter prop you'd like to consider. Probably better to match the motor/prop/battery combination to the model than try to replicate an IC engine. With an electric motor you can select one to turn a bigger prop at a lower speed giving more thrust than an IC engine which has to turn the prop at a higher rpm.
