Something I have always wanted to try and I will before too much longer.

Does anyone fly slopes in these areas or know of flyers who do?

Basic Research is what I do - when I don't know what I'm doing!.

There is a slope near RAF Scampton, dont think there will be anything in Humberside. Further north there are loads. Not much shown on http://www.slopehunter.co.uk/ but they are there. In an Easterly, coast slopes are good. Hole of Horcum is the well known one. In the days when I got free petrol (!) I used to travel many miles, Derbyshire, Long Mynd, St Agnes etc.

Can you tell me more re the slope near Scampton please?

Didn't know there was a slope near Scampton tell us more Bob.

Not been myself. There is a ridge somewhere near Sturton le Stow some guys used to fly at, the road past the showground. Worth investigating, as would some of the Wolds near Horncastle.

I believe that some slope near to Cadwell Park circuit but I have never been.

If I remember correctly someone who used to post on here wrote about it. A Julian Beckett ?
