Prop of choice at the moment seems to be a G-sonic 18x8

I use a G Sonic 18x8 on my one in a black horse Chipmunk. Seams to like that prop for some reason. I have tried a few other sizes but I have come back to that for overall performance

Mine has a Mejzlik 18x12 on at the moment. If you can find one, the Bolly three blade carbon 16.5x10 works well.

A 19x6 is going to have a tip speed well over 400mph.

I've only recently started flying a petrol - the DLE30.  I started with a 20x8 as per the manufacturer's list - but that was a Master Airscrew with square tips and others have suggested they can be noisy.

So I'm trying a Menz 18x10 and that seems fine - but I'm a bit nonplussed that the prop of choice is an 18x8 - that's the lightest loading that DLE suggest.

Had it's first flt today - dragging around an Airsail Auster AOP9 - and loads of power, even with a less than slippery airfarme.

So, I don't know what to do now!  I'll be interested to see how this thread goes.
Wots Wot, Airsail Chipmunk, JU87,  Piper Pawnee, Auster AOP9, Beech D18, Partenavia P-68 (another one still to maiden)

Hi my boy, a New DLE 30? you must have raked it in for Christmas ;)
A guy in my club uses an 18x10 on his 30 in an Sbach and one of those inserts from Gashanger to quieten it down with excellent results in performance and less noise.

19x8 is what I found worked best.  The Hawk C type from Gashanger.  I have also heard 20x6 works very well for a 3D model.
