Hi Guys.
Has anybody ever used Horusrc in China ? Just wondered how you found their service.

Ordered some radio gear last week and am having an email exchange as regards they do not recognise my post code...... All bit worrying as I have bought from most of the Chinese suppliers for some years with no problems, very tempted to cancel my order.

Cheers.

I placed my first order with them on Tuesday 8th May 2018 at 1855 hrs UK time.

Had an email Wednesday 9th May 2018 at 1112 hrs to  confirm my order was on its way.

So far for me a positive experience.

I will keep you informed.

Sounds like you will be ok Kevin.

It's now two weeks since I placed my order and it is still "processing" and now they are not responding to my emails.

Have even tried to phone them on the Chinese number on their website............. Number unobtainable !

So had no alternative but to open a PayPal dispute, hopefully I will receive a refund via PayPal

Well blow me down !

The morning after my last post here and starting a PayPal dispute, I receive an email from them telling me my Taranis X9D Special Edition had shipped with DHL.

Thought here we go another two weeks of waiting as I had chosen the free P&P option........... No, when I went to track the package it was picked up in Hong Kong on Wednesday morning 16.05.18 and had arrived at Birmingham UK via Germany not much more than 24 hours later yesterday !! There was a small customs charge to pay, which I paid on the DHL website and my Taranis was with me this lunch time !!

I am amazed how fast things can be shipped from HK if they really want to, Still Not sure about HorusRc though, I still had no reply from customer support...... There again I did get my tranny super fast after a flurry of emails etc, so maybe I should not Knock them too much and the Taranis arrived to exactly the spec I had ordered.

frank.

Well, at the time of my order T9 were out of stock of the model I wanted, also I could order it from Horusrc in mode 1 with UK plug and non EU firmware, witch was the spec I was after.

I know it is easy enough to set one up that way but thought that as T9 were out of stock I might as well order from Horusrc.

My bits arrived today.

Ironically on the same day as the same order from T9 arrived. Only ordered from T9 yesterday along with other bits and pieces.

Price from Horus RC for the items was negated by creating an account on line and using the "points" for my first order. Price to me. £0.00

Had given up on the order hence the same and extra from T9.

So does any one want a set of gimble wires for a Horus?

Are these the upgrade silicon wires for the X12S ? Think I may have seen something about this, are the standard ones a problem then ?

Yes the upgraded version with silicone wire.

My first Horus is a pre production Beta unit bought up to retail spec.

I do indeed have the issue of the rudder doing weird things. A known problem on earlier models.

I will make a short video later if I get time and show the issue.

All better.

Replaced the gimble wire on the Beta unit. Not going to do the full production model just yet as it is fitted with the newer silicone wires.

And a spare set for you never know when.

I was getting the same hence it went back. New X10S arrived today very nice but itís got an issue with the aileron and rudder trims. They will travel one way but will not return to centre . I suspect itís a firmware issue but it can go back to t9

Open TX or FrOS?

I guess you have calibrated the new unit.

My X12S is a very early one and has done sterling service. No complaints from me.
