A bit of blurb (two pages) in the latest Radio Times, should be worth watching.

Is this about the original models from the 1969 film Mike, or a politically-correct remake, where Hitler merely had 'issues' ?

It's neither - But quite a large number of well known online modellers apparently took part flying FPV models.  See https://www.channel4.com/programmes/battle-of-britain-model-squadron/episode-guide/

Not a bad program, but I’m curious as to how they’re going to stretch it over 3 episodes?

Not a bad program, but I’m curious as to how they’re going to stretch it over 3 episodes?

They are going to try a recreate other key dates in the BoB, and look at the different techniques, the Germans moved from using Stukas when they were show to be very vulnerable to British fighters and moved onto low level bombing and it looks like they are going to cover that and how the airfields were protected. Then one of the other things they are going to look at if Douglas Baders plan of the big wing fighter group and the logistics of getting all the aircraft together. Plenty of historical info to go for and i think some of the fliers have been pick as they have connections back to pilots involved in the BoB.

there is just something so wrong about a WW2 plane with a leccy motor  ::)

only watched the first half-hour as Senior Management wanted to watch something else, but was a bit surprised at seeing several crashes in quick succession, but I suppose it was representative of the cross-section of pilots, some experience, but many fresh out of flying school.

The Stuka’s were FMS, but I think the rest were Dynam
You only need two tools in life - wd-40 and duct tape . If it doesn't move and should, use the wd-40. If it shouldn't move and does use the duct tape
