ALZRC 420 Devil
« on: June 15, 2017, 05:00:47 AM »
Anyone bought one of these heli's, the present discounted price is very good.
I would like to know if the body is the same as a 380 Devil, I suspect it is the 380 fuselage with a longer tail boom !  The  380 fuse is 47mm wide if you are checking and the motor is +- 37mm Dia.

Hi John,

Have looked at the 380 in the past but not tempted. 420 not much better IMO. Might be up for a 550 ish!

It actually states in their garbled Chinglish text that it has a stretched tail boom, which reads to me its a simple blade and boom stretch on the 380.

The one review on Banggood says it only had a 60A ESC supplied, and the purchaser regards the tail mech as suspect.

Personally I feel the Super Combo price (to get motor/esc/servos etc) is not that good a deal. Which one of the three options were you considering?

Hi Dave, I also checked the parts listing and found the the fuselage parts are interchangeable so it is just a 380 with a long boom and maybe a little larger motor, not so interesting. The value pack I thought, was the the bare kit, but now maybe the new Align offering are more interesting. Especially as one of my flying buddies here has an Align outlet, just a hobby shop you understand!!   :af
