iGyro 1E & dual servos
« on: September 03, 2015, 12:17:50 PM »
I've got a YA F16 Mako currently set up with the ailerons connected to separate channels to allow me to mix in a small amount of flap for take off.
Due to wing rocking tendencies I've purchased an iGyro 1E to connect to the aileron channel, although the gyro has two outputs for dual aileron servos, it only has one input for the aileron channel, this would mean I would lose the flap mixing function. So could I instead retain the two separate aileron channels and simply connect the gyro to only one aileron servo thereby retaining the flap function?

Yes you can, though when.you put the flaps.down the gyro fade out will reduce or even zero the gain just when you wanted it for landing.

Thanks for the confirmation Harry, I can live with the reduced gain with flaps down, only need them for take off anyway, landings are fine without them.  :af
