Drones/Multi-Rotors / Re: Recommendations Required

Personally I find flying planes much more relaxing than multirotors, it just feels more natural .. yes they don't stop, but if push comes to shove just keep the throttle at 1/2 an steer, it's only going to go forwards.
If only all fixed wing flying was that easy!

Depends how much you want to spend, I have a Staufenbeil Vegas (2000mm span) which runs a 2200 mah 3s and gets away with great authority and really punches through the wind, unfortunately after Horizons restructuring they seem to be in short supply, but this one,  https://www.horizonhobby.co.uk/p/staufenbiel-cheetah-r-1750mm-pnp.htm?SessionId=&a=article&ProdNr=0314077P&p=46476&rdeocl=1&rdetpl=productpage&rdebox=box1 seems to be in stock.

My MPX Heron also punches through the wind quite well, so it's smaller mate the Solius could also be an option, but quite a bit larger than 48"
