First slope flight in ages today. Went to Baildon in strong WNW in between showers this afternoon. Flew recently repaired Speedo after Nont's hard landing. All ok had a very good 1/2 hour, met two guys from Huddersfield flying cub. They has identical flying wings for combat flying. Quite a few contacts including one guy flying into his mate ! No damage done and nobody hurt but lots of laughs

Flew the Orme Thursday, huge lift overlooking the Pier. Mainly flew my HK ASW-28. Couple of flights with the banana and wild thing but highlight of the day was Allan finding the only tree on the Orme with his Fox. The following 2 hours made for fantastic entertainment for passing ramblers....but we got it back eventually.

Going up Sunday afternoon. Park at ski slope follow path around the back of the ski chalet to the slope. Sunshine and big lift predicted. A lot of people fly the SW slope on the Orme, but this slope beats it hands down for lift and predicted wind is right into it.

Four of us up the Orme today, wind was right on the point so split between two slopes. Not great lift but enough to stay up.
