I wondered :)

Not far from me - we'll check it out at the week end

We've flown the Carluddon slope, flies on a S fairly well, but you end up flying over the road

There are some cracking thermals there so might try electric glider

try putting helman tor into google, it's the same thing.
doesn't look worth it to me, too small, too rocky, too close to Dodman which is epically better

I know you believe you understand what you think i said, but i am not sure you realise that what you think you heard is not what i meant.

The more interesting one for me is Trenarren

Interesting shape for a start - but only a mile and a half from my works

Possible sw and ne?

A few of us have flown Helman. We actually tried it fro DS.

It's flyable in East or West. Not a great slope with better slopes around. Front sides best on a westerly, but there are better slopes. Could get DS circuits in on a W but not a good backside. Might DS better on an E with the easterly slope the weaker slope and a better back side.

Either way, there are better slopes not far away.

"Cow Glue" is the default site name for a slope viewed from the West Country Slopers site. To prove a point, even StAgnes is called "Cow Glue"! It's quite a cool name I think. It may even stick???!!

Jeese thank God it rained this evening

I was going to go straight from work to check out Trenarren, completely forgetting I was supposed to be in St Austell for a performance of Calamity Jane

Fortunately It hammered down and I turned back!

Damned good performace guys - well done St Austell operatic society!!!
