Hi Allen,  :)

I would like to make a day of it, & it really does seem silly not to with the weather being as it is.

I wonder if it is worth asking Ray to mass mail all the ESSA members, & see if we can attract a bit more of a discussion on here about things!

Anyone up for giving Crowlink a go tomorrow aswell?

I don`t think there is going to be much in the way of slope action (5mph SSE), but I will need to borrow a bungee suitable for my middle phase.

Hi allen,

Would it be okay to pick it up tomorrow morning, & whenever is convenient to you really? I can be there anytime from midnight to 12 noon.  ;D

I want to go to the tackle shop & buy some split rings anyway, so it would be ideal.

I did try texting you back, but it wont send the message for some reason, so could you text/PM me your address & an ideal time?

Many thanks. :af

Should be a great day for the F3F contest today.  Well, I guess some of the flyers might say there is too much wind .... but better than too little!

I see that the typical rain for F3F is around today.
Wont be much fun up the long man dodging the showers, unless you have a tent !

Hi all,

I had a wander up to Wilmington to see what this F3F Lark was all about, & I was really impressed with the flying, & never knew it went on for so long! :)

It did rain for about 20 seconds only.

Comp took place on West side, although wind seemed to end up being SW, despite forecast.

Sorry I was not very talkative Peter, I`ve been feeling flued up, but without any physical cold symptoms? To top it off, I went over on the chalk track, when walking back down the hill. Lucky I was just spectating & did not have any model related stuff with me, & was hands free. ::)

I still can`t believe how well organised & smooth the running was.

Hi Gary,

Other than a bruised palm, I am okay thanks. :af

It was more embarrasing really, as I was walking back down with Phil (Phiza2) at the time! :embarassed: That chalk gets so slippy in places when wet, & I did a similar thing twice with Allen at the ESSA F3F comp on the 4th September.  :''
