Flying in NW Wales - Asking for advice
« on: July 09, 2016, 22:38:39 PM »
Hi there,

I am in the area of Snowdonia mainly for visiting the mountains. But since the weather is not in my favour and I have a bunch of gliders with me, it would be great to let them fly in the strong SW wind now. I am in Llanbedr right now but quite flexible. Great Orme it too far north though. I hope I'll get ther by the end of next week. If the weather is on my side, I will attend Cosford on Sat and have a visit to Long Mynd on my way back to the South.

Are there any known spots west of the line between Llanbedr and Bangor for SW / W winds?

Thanks for any advice!
Marcel
