Decent blow at Thurnham this morning, mega lift when a fast moving thermal blew through...just Si and myself though.
I kept quite as did we all when that happen'd .. I didn't know what to think or do .. it was horrid to witness and I'm sure pauls heart sunk ..Would have liked to spend a while longer into sunset but had time to keep ..
Thanks for the video Jeff..... so pleased the maiden went well especially in such marginal conditions.Duke and his chair will be forever remembered by the leading edge sheeting of my wing... hopefully I'll be able to pushmost of the damage back into shape and make a half decent repair I'm going to try and get out again tonight and enjoy the last of the flyable evenings. Tomorrow is looking really good for the South Downsbut I have to work unfortunately.
Charley and I are going to South Downs tomorrow morning. We’ll keep an eye out for Mark.
Paul.. as for the big wing every scar tell's a tail .. I was utterly impressed with the workmanship that went into creating that Leviathen.....
