About RCMF RCMF (or RCFlyers as it was known) first saw the light of day in August 2000. Back then, for the first few days, it was little more than a single page web-site dedicated to RC model flying but very quickly we added a forum function which soon took off and the flood-gates opened! Within 24 hours we had 30 members and that continued to grow exponentially to the 7000+ we have today. In fact, it would be double that number if we didn't cull inactive memberships from time to time. Today, RCMF has grown to become the largest Radio Control Model Flying portal outside of North America, in every measurable sense; number of members, hits rate and the number of topics under discussion. We cover all apsects of the sport and have dedicated areas for electric flight, IC engines, Jet turbines, 2.4GHz, Radio equipment, helicopters, gliders & gliding, scale modelling and construction topics to name but a few. We're very proud of the atmosphere we have created at RCMF and we like to feel that any newcomer to the forum will be made to feel welcome and have their questions answered. We are also delighted to have attracted some of the largest and most respected names in the trade to RCMF including Al's Hobbies, YT International, Steve Webb Models, Wren Turbines, Just Engines, MacGregor Industries, RobotBirds, Puffin Model, Fighteraces, TJD Models, Probuild and many others who are all on-hand to answer your queiries directly. We hope you will enjoy visiting RCMF as a guest you will be able to view many of the topics under duscussion but for the full experience, we recommend you register. It's free and takes just a few moments of your time. |
