Quote from: satinet on September 02, 2016, 09:51:20 amYou need a seriously awesome radio to fly a powered delta or a 4 channel trainer..........!
Quote from: NSS on September 02, 2016, 17:35:20 pmThat is the beauty of BETA testing, any one from top gun pilots to club flyers participate. I found errors in the software that would not affect a high end user. Every reported bug is a bonus for the end user, in that they should be able to fly safe in the knowledge that people like me risked there £1200 jet or there £30 foam delta.Kev

Quote from: tomkfly on October 31, 2016, 07:26:57 amI wouldn't, if you get hit for tax/duty it will cost more than buying in Europe and any problems will be difficult to resolve.Tom
Quote from: NSS on October 31, 2016, 14:15:02 pmHave you updated it to the latest firmware?Indded which version did it ship with.FrSky claim to have made some major improvements with the latest. V1.2.20http://www.frsky-rc.com/download/view.php?sort=&down=312&file=Beta%20Firmware-Horus%20X12SKev
Quote from: pheasant_plucker on October 31, 2016, 19:36:58 pmVersion 1.2.15
Quote from: tomkfly on October 31, 2016, 19:48:29 pmYou want to load 1.2.20, although it is listed as a beta version, and after you load it you need to rebind your receivers. There was/is a problem with random, very short duration Failsafes, mainly effecting quads, when flying close. 1.2.20 is an attempt to fix the problem.Tom
Quote from: Bad Raven on October 31, 2016, 21:44:16 pmThe instruction to rebind was added some time after release, somewhat worrying! The main change link wise is that when the RF is set to outside aerial, it also runs the internal. Thing is, I have run race quads low and fast through obstacles inc round trees at distance (within spotter vision limits) and close indoors with nothing untoward showing up using only internal, yet have experienced poor range and RSSI warnings with planes in far less extreme conditions.
