Wondered if you had the skills to build it  :nananana:
Then I thought of some charisma training Pete, nah, bugger that.

When I had my eye test for new glasses Mike the optician  said I had a problem with my left eye, the picture showed a blood vessel growing at the back of  my eyeball. Got me an appointment at Worcester Royal, diagnosed with AMD (Age related mocular degeneration) and is treated with a course of injections into the rear of the eyeball, it's not too bad just bloody unpleasant, and like you the thought of it the first time I was a wreck mate,in all honesty they were absolutely brilliant. Still some sea air tomorrow for couple of weeks will put me right, taking "Bomber" with me to read  :af
Both my brother and myself find your books very good. :af
Sorry chaps, back on topic now.

All the best with the sea air. Eye problems are always a worry, aren't they. I only have one effective eye, the right one. I can see out of the left but not well enough to read, drive, etc. As you say, back on topic.

Most certainly here for a good while yet thanks to an anonymous benefactor that has donated £1,000 to the cause and a number of generous donations which have been forthcoming in the last couple of days.
The buck stops here.

Hi Wiz....
Thanks for all your hard work, and no doubt at times taking some flack...
It is regrettable that this is necessary, but understand

You're missing the recent posts. RCMF is not closing down - an injection of funds means it is going to continue

#Understandable, mate - can't believe how gutted I was at the start of the thread! The fact that folk have chipped in to save it shows how much it is valued!
All the best

I've dropped a line to Peter expressing the hope that some of us will continue to support his site - he was good to us, let's be good to him!

Just to clarify the situation for those not up to speed with developments I was going to mark Wiz'z Post #72 as "Best Answer" (or whatever it used to be called) but that facility seems to have disappeared  $%&

Anyway, might I suggest that the mods update the thread header accordingly to show that
"They think it's all over -           but it ISN'T now"  :uk:

Still distracted by a 1953 AJS 16MS and now a 1939 BSA 250 too!

Standing order set up for annual payment Nige, from 21/06. See how things work out over time and let me know if you are not getting the support promised.
