What General Weygand called the Battle of France is over,
I expect the Battle of Britain is about to begin.

PS. Gary you can attend if you behave yourself.
Never in the field of human conflict was so much owed by so many to so few.

Thanks Phil.

We had loads of warm sunshine at Tibenham all day  :)
It was a bit breezy but everyone seemed to be having fun.  :co  :af

Quote from: Brian Cooper on September 18, 2020, 01:42:55 amI also have a model (Spitfire) which isn't finished yet due to enjoying the weather and indulging in too much flying.
It will get there eventually but it won't be going to Tibenham this time.

I will take a Zero, a Corsair and the Bristol Fighter.

I would like to thank all those who attended
the Battle of Britain event last Friday, under
very difficult circumstances.

I hope those who attended enjoyed themselves.
I did, even though Mavis, Mudley and Mable all
stayed on the ground due to the gusty conditions.
As always there was some excellent models present
and the flying was of the highest order in very
challenging conditions.
So once again, I would sincerely like to thank all those who attended this event.
Even with the cancellation of the Hurricane flypast (ridiculous decision)
and the absence of the SoCa ceremonial party it was
still a good day (In my humble opinion).

And as always, I would like to thank my helpers on the day.
In no particular order they are,
Kev F.
Tony K.
Brian C.
Muffler
Tony C.
Clive G.

And the excellent photographers
Kev F.
Pete C.
Dave B.

Regards a happy, tired and relieved Phil G.

As always, superb pictures Kev.
I take it I can use them on other places,
as long as I give you credit?
Thank you very much.
